    Just found out about this new dance group called the cruel angels (The leader it seems is Beckii Cruel) and it has me.... confused.
    On the one hand i am happy that such girls are able to live out their dreams. They are good dancers and Gemma cruel seems to be a relatively good singer.

  But what worries me the most is the springing up of new groups of other western dance crews hoping to have the same sucess. Many of them are good dancers, if anything better than the Cruel Angel's, but they fail to see what made beckii so sucessful in the beginning - her look.

    The main Cruel's are all slim, with child like arms and legs (even the 18 year old), and have round faces wich is a very popular look in japan. Magibon, another famous westener in japan that came from You Tube, has this cute young girl look in spades. Most, if not all of the copy cat groups have talent and beauty.... but only from the western POV. The girls are all healthy looking teenagers - rather than stick thin teenagers that look like little girls.

   So i wish them all the best of luck. If the Cruel's are sucsessful then.... well then this will open the door for the westener wishing to imitate Japanese culture. However I fear that many of these girls may not get the sucsess they crave because they don't understand the Japeneses Idol market....
